Ambulance evacuations

This is the mainstay of Pallywood. The basic technique: a boy fakes or
exaggerates an injury somewhat the way a football player might fake
an injury to convince the referee to call a penalty, a group of people
gather around, pick him up (in some cases after knocking him down)
and run him to the ambulance. Key elements to watch for: the
extraordinarily rough treatment of supposedly injured people; the
phony rushing (often moving directly in front of the Israelis); the
bustling of people eager to grab a hold of some part of the “injured
party” so that they can be photographed as they approach the
ambulance. The footage so far available from that day (this footage
and Talal’s) suggests that virtually all the injuries were staged.
