Pallywood Video Segments - Visual Search
|
One of the reasons that "Pallywood" succeeds is that the public does not see the raw footage. By the time several editors have cut down the raw footage into the most believable 2-5 second sight-bytes, the viewer can only with great difficulty realize that the footage has been staged, that it's fake. The real evidence lies on the cutting room floor. Here we make available as many examples of raw footage of camerawork as we have, most of them related to the famous day of the Al Durah affair -- 30 September 2000. For those not ready to wade through hours of raw footage, most of it boring, we have provided some edited examples of particularly salient cases of staging. But in order to maintain the level of transparency we think any serious claim to intellectual legitimacy entails, we provide the raw material from which we have produced our edited work, whether in these informal collections or our more formal documentaries and dialogue series.
